When I was getting down to the final to do's on my wedding checklist I realized that I needed to come up with a day of schedule - at first this seemed like an easy task and I sat down with a pen and a piece of scrap paper thinking I could crank it out in a few minutes and cross one more thing off the list. Well, I was sadly mistaken. The day of schedule turned out to be far more complicated and took much longer than a few minutes to put together. I ended up creating a spreadsheet that had a column for each important person and vendor. This made tracking simultaneous activities much easier :) When I shared the spreadsheet with my bridesmaids I honestly thought they were going to think I was crazy, but they all let me know what a huge relief it was to know what everyone was supposed to be doing. My vendors loved it and the day could not have gone more smoothly! Everyone was so impressed by it that they said I should share it on my blog. So here it is! Wedding Day Schedule

Kathryn and Justin
After a year of planning and preparing June 23, 2012 was a huge success! The blog has been incredibly neglected over the past few months due to the wedding, but I think you will enjoy this post and hopefully think it was worth the wait. Ned Jackson was our amazing photographer and all the photo credits go to him. Please check out his work on his blog - he is awesome!
Here are pictures of all the print related items that helped make the wedding a huge success. Amanda Fox did an outstanding job designing all of these pieces
The save the dates were poster sized and mailed to guests in
craft paper tubes. The posters were rolled and tied with a piece
of jute and dried purple flowers.
Save the Date Poster and Invitation
Blue envelopes were adorned with custom address labels for each guest. The invitation was
held together in a matching pocket folder that was kept closed with a lime green bellyband.
All together the invitation included an invitation card, information card, RSVP card, RSVP stickers,
RSVP envelope and a brunch invitation.
The pocket folder kept the many pieces of the invitation neatly organized.
Instead of having guests check a box to accept or regret, they chose the appropriate sticker to
adhere to the RSVP card.
Guests were welcomed at their hotels with a goody bag filled with drinks and snacks.
Groomsman with programs
The front of the program gave guests details about the ceremony.
The back of the program was a timeline of the evening so guests
knew what to expect.
Guests left notes on different wine bottles to be opened when celebrating different anniversaries.
Cheers to 5 and 10 Years!
Escort Card Display
Escort Cards featured pictures of bride and groom with
guests.
Each card was hung with a mini cloths pin.
Tables were decorated with ivory linens and a scalloped overlay. Centerpieces
consisted of green and white organic wild flowers. Candles were placed in mini
jam jars and the table numbers were displayed in painted wooden frames.
Flowers were displayed in antique jars and vases. Table numbers carried through
the theme from the invitations.
Each guest's napkin and silverware were wrapped with a menu band.
Bride and groom gave each guest a tin full of herb seeds.
A sign at the bar let guests know about the signature drinks
being offered.
A second sign at the bar let guests know to tag their mason
jar for the night.
At the end of the night guests lit sparklers to give the bride
and groom a sparkling send off.

Save the Dates are Out!
If you have been following my blog you know that back in October I was working with my long time friend and designer, Amanda Fox, to design my save the dates. Well, they turned out even better than I imagined! The poster size announcements were carefully rolled, tied with twine and a small purple flower and then placed in a craft paper mailing tube. I was so thankful to get help from my sister and mom on this project.

Save the Date
Just like you, I am in the middle of planning my wedding!! So far it has been an extremely exciting time and my fiancé, Justin, and I have nailed down our venue, caterer, and a photographer. The bride’s maids dresses and shoes are all purchased and my dress is on order! With the sixth month mark to the wedding approaching right after the holidays I have started to plan for our save the dates and am working with my life long friend and graphic designer, Amanda Fox.
